Life Ball in Vienna: The Girl Effect

Hi there, About a week ago the annual Life Ball took place in Vienna – besides a lot of celebrities, there also was presented an initiative called ‘The Girl Effect’, which, in my opinion, is quite worth sharing. Actually, it seems to be quite easy: If you improve the life of 12 year old girls, the chance is quite high that our world is becoming a better place within the next 50 years, as it will not only affect the girls, but also their children. ‘Key for Two’ in the Vienna’s English Theatre

Hi all, Last Thursday we watched another very funny play in the Vienna’s English Theatre: Key for Two by John Chapman and Dave Freedman. The play is about a woman who is juggling with two lovers, which goes quite well until an old friend appears and the two lovers, unfortunately for Harriet, the woman with the two lovers, also arrive nearly at the same time. The play is hilariously funny and – some time after the beginning, which is rather boring but needed to introduce the actors – attracts a lot of laughter from the audience. Minigolf League Season over

Hi everybody, Finally, the minigolf league season in Lower Austria is over, and – although we hoped we could rank 2nd in the final overall standings of the Oberliga – the 1. MGC Vösendorf made the 3rd place. Nevertheless, only promoted last season from the Unterliga to the Oberliga, we are quite happy with this 3rd place of 6 teams.
